We’re absolutely thrilled to share that Obsessive Recessive Roots has been awarded National Lottery Awards for All funding for our new project - Roots to Fork! 🎉💚 

A huge thank-you to everyone who believes in our mission — this support will transform our site into a vibrant community hub for 2026 and beyond!

👨👩👧👦 What’s coming up in 2026?

We’re planning a wide range of outdoor activities that incorporate sustainability, nature, outdoor skills and food knowledge for all ages, including adults:

🥕 Food Growing – hands in the soil, learning how to grow fresh produce

🍳 Food Skills & Cooking – prepare delicious food to take away

🌳 Nature Activities – connect with the outdoors and local wildlife

🎨 Nature Crafts – creativity inspired by the natural world

🤝 Community Support – we’ll also be donating our grown produce to local food banks

There’s plenty of work to do and plenty to get involved with — whether you want to learn, volunteer, support your community, or simply enjoy a welcoming space. 💪💚
