✨ Lighting Up the Dark Nights – Our Community Light Trail ✨

Supported by Derbyshire Makes - Back in November and December, we wrapped up warm, switched on the sparkle, and welcomed our local community to something really special – our Community Light Trail 💡🌙

And wow… what a couple of months it was!

Families, friends, and lots of excited children joined us as the trail glowed through the darker evenings. Everywhere you looked there were smiling faces, colourful lights, and the sound of laughter echoing around the site 🎶💫

🌈 Glow Sticks, Giggles & Goodies

Every child who attended was treated to free light sticks and glow sticks, instantly transforming them into tiny glowing explorers ✨🟢🟣 There were also snacks and drinks to keep everyone fuelled while they wandered the trail, chatted, and soaked up the atmosphere 🍪🧃

One of the absolute highlights had to be our pig and farmer photo board 📸🐖
The queue never seemed to end as children (and adults!) lined up to grab a picture, strike a pose, and make a memory. It brought so much joy and silliness – exactly what we love to see ❤️

💛 Community, Connection & Christmas Magic

More than anything, the light trail was about bringing people together. As the nights drew in, it gave families a chance to get outside, spend time together, and enjoy something magical without worrying about cost or pressure 🌟

Seeing so many children laughing, parents chatting, and the community sharing a warm, welcoming space reminded us exactly why we do what we do.

Thank you to everyone who came along, supported us, and helped make the Light Trail such a glowing success 🥰
We loved every minute – and who knows… this might not be the last time we light up the winter nights ✨😉
